美國總統川普再在其社交媒體Twitter帳戶留言，說：“如果聯儲局肯減息，美國股市將成為其中一個很長期大幅度上漲的股市。那些經營糟糕及弱勢的公司，耍聰明將管理不善歸咎於小小的關稅…..他們能怪責誰？那只是借口！”
