美國此次約有1.5億人投票，民主黨總統候選人拜登已宣布當選，拿下7400多萬票創曆史新高，不過，總統川普8日在推特表示，「我們在費城和底特律這樣的城市中，共有超過1億張郵寄選票」。川普砲轟民主黨「偷了他們必須偷的東西。」推文依舊被推特標記內容有爭議。
川普認為，現在重點應該放在選票上，目前團隊剛開始製表，美國的選舉問題行之有年，這些指控包括了選民詐欺行為，現在賓州已經受到法官命令，強迫選務人員將截止日期之後才收到的選票給分開，這種事都需要大法官幹預才能成功，但還有一大堆選票。
川普表示，若要談論係統性問題，就牽連到這些選票如何進行身分驗證，如果係統中存在著有關身分驗證的問題，對整個選舉將產生嚴重影響，「而且讓我擔心的是，我們在費城和底特律這樣的城市中，共有超過1億張郵寄選票，還出現了一係列的選舉問題。」
川普強調，「我們相信這些人（拜登陣營）是小偷，大城市已經壞掉了，這是1次失竊的選舉，就連英國最好的民調機構都說了，這顯然是1次被偷走的選舉，無法想像拜登在某些州的得票表現會超越歐巴馬」，川普最後補充：「在關鍵的地方，他們偷了他們必須偷的東西。」
川普為了躲避推特審查，將文章上下顛倒並分開推送，不過還是依舊被推特標記「對於選舉詐欺的指控是具有爭議的」、「了解更多郵寄選票是安全可靠的」。
