蒙古國首都烏蘭巴托遭受強沙塵暴侵襲。
蒙古國連續兩日遭受強沙塵暴及暴風雪侵襲，截至15日17時止，蒙古國緊急情況總局統計，致死人數已上升至10人，另有11人仍處於失蹤狀態。
綜合媒體報導，蒙古國自13日起，遭受每秒約24公尺、瞬間陣風達到34公尺強風侵襲，北部交雜冰雪形成暴風雪，戈壁草原地帶則形成強沙塵暴，首都烏蘭巴托市14日遭受了強沙塵暴襲擊，一片昏天暗地。
一度提報有10人死亡、590人走失，不過，民眾及相關單位的互助之下，截至15日17時已找到579人，仍有11人失蹤。10名死者中有一名5歲兒童。另外，還致58座蒙古包和121處房屋、柵欄被摧毀，數千頭牲畜走失。東部地區部分輸電線路損壞並導致當地斷電。
氣象專家表示，蒙古國此次強沙塵暴的強度和持續時間均超過以往年份，牧民應盡量不出門，不走遠路，看管好兒童。
