馬來西亞吉隆坡周一（24日）晚間發生兩列輕鐵列車發生碰撞，導致47人重傷、166人輕傷。有人倒臥在血泊之中，受困車廂。
根據吉隆坡輕鐵公司（RapidKL
LRT）發布聲明，編號40列車及編號81列車發生相撞事故，公司接獲事故通報後，已立即派員前往協助。
有民間記者在推特上發布照片和影片顯示，車廂內乘客多人受傷，有人倒臥在車廂地板，地上疑似有大量血跡。
事故發生在晚間8時45分，一列從KLCC站出發的列車，與另一列從Kg
Bharu站來的列車相撞。據指，其中一列列車未能偵到另一列車逼近，而發生相撞事故。
地方警察局長阿布杜拉（Mohamad Zainal
Abdullah）表示，一列維修後的空列車與另一列行駛在同一軌道上、載著213名乘客的列車對撞，造成47人重傷、166人輕傷。他說，”我們仍在調查這起事件……，但我們懷疑是行車控製中心的通訊出錯。”
