美國司法部追回了燃油運輸管道營運商科洛尼爾管道運輸公司向黑客支付的部分贖金。
路透社報道，科洛尼爾管道運輸公司（Colonial
Pipeline）上月遭勒索軟件襲擊，向黑客支付了440萬美元（約582萬新元）贖金。
美國司法部周一（7日）表示，其中約230萬美元已被執法人員追回。
科洛尼爾管道運輸公司當時支付了75枚比特幣給黑客，執法人員追回了63.7枚比特幣。
自科洛尼爾管道運輸公司支付贖金後，比特幣幣值滑落，執法人員在5月底追繳的比特幣，隻相當於230萬美元。
這也是美國司法部新成立的“勒索軟件和數碼勒索特別行動組”首次追回已支付給黑客的贖金。
