據《紐約時報》報導，龍捲風 21 日襲擊美國中南部德克薩斯州和奧克拉荷馬部分地區，並於 22
日向東進入路易士安那、密西西比以及阿拉巴馬等州。據當地官員稱，美國東南部 5 個州在 2天內已遭遇 60
多場龍捲風的嚴重侵襲。
其中，德州傑克縣超過 30 座建築遭到破壞，其中大部分是住宅。據當地官員稱，有 9 人因輕傷住院， 60 到 80
座房屋被毀。德州州長阿博特（Greg Abbott）也針對包括傑克縣在內的 16 個縣發佈了災難聲明。
