據央視新聞，俄羅斯國防部6月30日發布公告稱，俄羅斯聯邦武裝力量完成了在蛇島的指定任務，並於當天撤出了位於那裏的駐軍。
俄國防部強調這是俄方的善意舉措並借此向國際社會表明，俄羅斯聯邦並沒有阻撓聯合國為建立人道主義走廊以將農產品運出烏克蘭的努力。

俄國防部指出俄軍撤出蛇島後將不允許基輔以俄羅斯完全控製黑海西北部地區而無法出口糧食為由炒作糧食危機。現在需要關注烏克蘭方麵的行動，烏方仍然沒有清理黑海沿岸，包括其港口附近的水域。
烏克蘭總統辦公室負責人耶爾馬克也在當天發布消息稱，由於烏克蘭武裝部隊的行動，俄羅斯軍隊已經離開了蛇島。
