加州州長紐森（Gavin
Newsom）23日發出聲明表示，由於炎熱、幹燥天氣以及幹旱等條件，橡樹大火自22日爆發後，已延燒超過1萬1500英畝麵積的土地，烈焰燒毀房屋、威脅重要基礎設施，宣布瑪利波薩郡進入緊急狀態，藉此獲得聯邦消防管理援助資金，協助救災。
這場大火導致多條道路關閉，當地超過2600多戶家庭與企業的電力供應中斷。塞拉國家森林（Sierra National
Forest）發言人帕特森（Daniel
