特朗普隨後發推回擊，指責奧巴馬企圖把經濟繁榮的功勞據為己有。特朗普稱，雖然有美聯儲零利率和大規模QE助力，奧巴馬任內美國經濟複蘇依然是大蕭條時期以來最弱的。
