巴基斯坦總理夏巴茲（Shehbaz Sharif）6月12日（週五）表示，美國和伊朗已就和平協議的最終文本達成協議。伊朗外交部長阿拉格齊（Abbas Araghchi）同日表示，《伊斯蘭堡諒解備忘錄》的簽署從未如此接近。
阿拉格齊在網路上發文呼籲，在備忘錄最終定稿之前，媒體應避免對其內容進行任何猜測。
阿拉格齊指，秉持我們負責任和透明的原則，所有細節將在適當時候向公眾公佈。
巴基斯坦總理夏巴茲則表示，在巴基斯坦持續積極斡旋之際，我們充分意識到，企圖破壞和平協議的人們正在不斷散播假訊息。撇開這些紛擾，我們可以確認，雙方（美伊）已就和平協議的最終文本達成一致，巴基斯坦目前正與雙方密切合作，敲定後續步驟。和平從未像現在這樣近在咫尺。
路透社通報，美國和伊朗6月12日（週五）都釋出訊號，表示雙方即將達成結束戰爭的協議。一位美國高級官員表示，美伊已形成雙方都滿意的文本。
伊朗外交部發言人同日表示，伊朗的領導階層正開會討論這份備忘錄文本。
