NBC引述德州當地媒體報導，Timberview高中槍擊案有多人受傷，救護車陸續載送傷患離開，阿靈頓警局的推特上發文指出，警方已經在
Timberview高中校園槍擊事件，進行有條不紊的調查，已經在一處當地的藝術中心，為學生設立家長團聚點。
Timberview高中大約有1,900 名9至12年級的學生，這座龐大的建築群於 2004 年開始啟用。

當地時間10月6日，美國得克薩斯州阿靈頓警察局助理局長科爾拜在新聞發布會上表示，得州高中校園槍擊案的嫌疑人目前已經被拘捕。
根據科爾拜發布的通告，嫌疑人為18歲的蒂莫西·辛普金斯，目前正在當地警察局接受探員的審訊。
當地時間10月6日上午，美國得克薩斯州阿靈頓市一所高中發生槍擊事件，造成4人受傷，其中3人傷勢較重被送往醫院救治。
科爾拜表示，在醫院治療的3名受害者中有1名在手術之後已經出院，另外2名傷者還需留院觀察，但情況良好。
