根據《紐時》最新消息指出，美國紐約布魯克林區(Brooklyn)的地鐵站周二傳出槍擊案，至少5人在月台中槍身亡、16人受傷，造成交通大癱瘓。

報導指出，執法人員到場時表示，警方正在追緝一位穿橘色背心、戴著防毒麵具的男子。週二，警方大約在早上8:30接獲通報，地鐵站冒出不明煙霧，事發位於日落公園36街地鐵站D、N以及R線附近。交通管理局表示，目前列車已經停駛，後續班次也將延誤。

白宮發言人莎琪(Jen Psaki)在推特表示，總統拜登(Joe
Biden)已經聽取地鐵槍擊案簡報，相關單位也在密切追蹤後續進展。

美國教育部發言人指出，已經下令布魯克林區周圍學校進行學生、教職人員安置動作，不論校園多大，所有人一律留在校園不準離開。

事發後，來自四麵八方的訊息稱，現場發現幾枚炸藥。不過紐約市警察局（NYPD）隨後在推特澄清，“布魯克林36街地鐵站發生槍擊案，當下並沒有發現任何引爆裝置…”到底爆炸是如何發生，當局尚在釐清整起案件是否該定調為恐攻事件。

據現場乘客拍攝影片可見，槍擊現場月台兩側都有地鐵列車停靠，部分車廂內的旅客疏散到到月台上，多名受傷流血的乘客或坐、或躺在月台上等候救援。但車站人員隨即緊急廣播，要求月台乘客回到列車上。鏡頭轉到車廂內，車廂上也有傷者等待援救，另一節清空的車廂上，則是滿地血跡。
