美國愛荷華州（Iowa）達文波特（Davenport）一處公寓28日晚間驚傳坍塌，目前救援工作正在進行，當局透露有1名傷者在現場接受治療，但並未詳細說明受傷人數。
美聯社報導，救援人員28日下午5點左右接到報案並趕到現場，達文波特消防局長卡斯騰（Michael
Carlsten）透露“這棟6層樓高的公寓後半部倒塌並與大樓分離”，並補充說“大樓較高樓層是公寓，較低的樓層則是企業辦公室”。
此外，
卡斯騰在記者會上表示“消防隊員一開始救出7人，並護送超過10人離開坍塌的建築物”，據悉，當局在坍塌後還發現煤氣洩漏和漏水的情況。

目前救援人員仍在尋找失蹤的人，由於該座建築物還發生二次坍塌，卡斯騰坦言“救援人員擔心建築物的穩定性”，並強調“我們現在的重點是救援，我們將繼續評估，重點是試圖找到人並將他們救出來”。
