美國總統川普3月26日（週四）在社交平台Truth Social發文表示，美國與伊朗目前的談判進展“非常順利”，宣布將暫緩摧毀其能源設施10日，至4月6日。
川普稱，「應伊朗政府請求，特此聲明，我將對伊朗能源設施的摧毀期限推遲10日，至美東時間2026年4月6日週一晚上8點。談判正在進行中，儘管假新聞媒體和其他一些人發表相反的錯誤聲明，但談判進展非常順利」。
